Made In Haslingden is a Registered charity who's aim is to work with members of the community and partner organisations to reduce loneliness and isolation and raise awareness of loneliness, isolation and dementia. We do this by providing regular craft-based sessions for members of the community of Haslingden and beyond. Our sessions and activities are dementia friendly, suitable for all ages and skill levels.
At our Craft sessions and Men's Shed, members of the community meet together, to share skills, learn new skills, such as knitting, sewing, crochet, card making, toy making, flower arranging and simple carpentry, or just to socialise. We always have tea, coffee and cake, and our lovely volunteers will make you welcome, whether it's your first visit or if you attend regularly.
We work closely with other community groups, charities and statutory organisations across Rossendale and East Lancashire to help to provide our participants with information and can signpost to other activities.
